Your role:
The CPO Technology team is responsible for partnering with the Chief People Office (CPO) to deliver solutions for employees, managers and candidates. The business is going through many exciting strategic changes which technology is a critical component of. This includes a re-engineering of our recruitment and talent processes, a new flexible benefits platform, a new talent marketplace, new payroll providers, a voice of the employee initiative and many more.
Our technology is also rapidly changing towards a more Cloud-centric model, with SaaS products, a cloud-based data Strategy, API Strategy and the move to more product aligned teams.
Working in collaboration with project managers, business analysts, testers, integration developers and third parties to deliver strategic change and transformation projects enabled by Workday. This includes rolling out new functionality as well as optimizing our existing processes
Conducting feasibility assessments of proposed changes to FIL’s Workday tenant to identify functional, reporting and security impacts
Developing and reviewing design specifications, ensuring design follows best practice
Configuring Workday including business process updates, security changes and developing new reports
Managing the implementation tenants across the portfolio, including security and access controls
Keeping abreast of all emerging Workday upgrades/changes is a key part of this role, as is the ongoing assessment of such changes on the FIL tenant.
Taking a lead on data scrambling and data masking activities
Key Skills
Strong Workday functional expertise and at least 5 years hands-on Workday configuration experience covering multiple functional areas is essential
In depth knowledge of Workday’s HCM business processes, security and reporting features
Experience and proven capability of full Workday project lifecycle and Workday optimisation projects
A good understanding of Extend functionality would be advantageous
Self-starter and team-player, requiring minimum oversight and guidance. A real “can do” attitude with high levels of resilience and used to working successfully under pressure
Excellent communication/presentation skills and the ability to manage stakeholder requirements/expectations
Ability to work well in a matrix-based and geographically dispersed organisation
Ability to pick up knowledge of the business, new technology areas, new processes/methodologies and apply these changes in the day-to-day working of the Technology organisation
