Your role:

The programme of work includes the delivery of enhancements to a number of our core investment components, managing and supporting enhancements to the digital tools available to our members to support investment decisions for pension scheme members, and the delivery of the Regulatory changes required to keep our products and services compliant. The role will require that you work with Fidelity technology teams and partners across FIL in multiple regions, using an agile delivery model, with support from product owners working alongside the scrum teams

  • Confirm scope and timelines, produce project plans, agree key milestones and dependencies.

  • Secure resources from teams within the UK and India, both technology and business - assign roles and responsibilities.

  • Facilitate solutions and ensure timely delivery of all deliverables / products.

  • Prepared to get into the detail when necessary to understand complex scenarios

  • Provide technical expertise and guidance based on knowledge from previous roles / projects.

  • Manage the full internal technology team and build strong relationships through attending dedicated team ceremonies.


Key Skills

  • Experience managing projects from initiation through to implementation preferably in an agile delivery framework

  • Working with offshore development teams eg India

  • Experience of working with third party vendors with a focus on technical integrations

  • Experience of tools like Atlassian suite, Confluence, JIRA etc

  • Preferably knowledge / experience of Financial Services within Pensions - Self Invested Personal Pensions, Defined Contribution Pension schemes and / or Defined Benefit Pension schemes.

  • Preferably Agile/Scrum qualified or have experience and a good understanding of the techniques used.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills and the ability to teach and learn from others

  • Sense of urgency and awareness of when to escalate issues.
