Your role:
This programme manager role will have responsibility for the implementation of an enterprise-wide strategic programme. This will involve co-ordinating deliverables and centralised reporting across multiple associated projects and workstreams. Delivery will be in-line with the direction, standards and approach set out by Fidelity’s methodologies
About you
Day to day programme management oversight across an enterprise-wide initiative
Guiding Project Sponsors and Accountable Executives (AE’s) where necessary, providing all required inputs, support and reporting to enable robust decision making and project steering
Full lifecycle ownership of projects (initiation, planning, execution, closure), including identification of impacted stakeholders, analysis and problem solving, maintaining risk, assumption, issue, dependency (RAAID) logs, producing and maintaining credible project plans, Programme reporting and MI
Leading and running project working groups and governance forums (such as Steering Committees)
Compiling documentation / packs for presentation at required governance meetings
Constantly reviewing the cost vs quality vs time aspect of the delivery, and ensuring that benefits are clear, tracked and delivered
Ensuring project budgets are monitored and that actuals versus forecasts (with variance commentaries) are reviewed and presented at the relevant governance forums
Engaging with, and actively managing relationships with Business and Technology stakeholders to drive optimal solutions, excellent communication skills generally
Key accountabilities
Robust planning skills across projects with multiple dependencies
Strong communication (verbal and written), influencing and problem resolution skills
Experience running/facilitating senior business stakeholder forums (i.e. Steering Committees) to achieve desired outcomes
Experience working closely with senior stakeholders (e.g. C-level) to support programme activities
Self-motivated and able to work independently or collaborate as part of a team across a variety of geographies and skill sets
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint and other project management tools and software.
