Your role

As a Product Delivery Manager on CLP, you will play a key role working with senior Business and Change leads within both Fidelity International and our vendor partners to facilitate and lead the definition and delivery of viable business tooling and operating model changes to support Fidelity’s Investment Management future growth and success. 

Specifically for this role, you will need to lead the strategic design and delivery of tools, technologies and op model changes to support the realisation of ‘Model Based Investing’, a key vehicle to support Fidelity’s ability to meet an ever-changing institutional client demand for product customisation across all asset classes. This will require you to lead teams of business analysts and technical vendors and engage with internal enablement functions to define and deliver key outcomes across the front, middle and back office functions to manage the execution of newly defined investment models, Client portfolio design and execution

  • Reporting into both the CLP Programme Director, partner with the business leads and senior Business and Enterprise Architects to incept and deliver the critical outcomes for new tooling and Model Based Investing Structures over the next 2 years. 

  • Lead the end-to-end strategic design and implementation of Model Based Investing within the CLP programme, managing plans to meet key outcomes & milestones to realised new functional and non-functional requirements  

  • Work closely with leads in the Data and Investment Risk and Attribution programmes, to successfully bring together cohesive solutions across tooling & data services

  • Design and correctly resource the global change team with the necessary skills and capabilities to successfully deliver the workstream outcomes in line with ISS enterprise standards.

  • Establish a roadmap demonstrating the staged delivery of capabilities, benefits realised, dependencies with other initiatives, customer impact, and regulatory impact. 

  • Ensure that there are clearly defined transition states for the Operating Model at different points in time on the roadmap to represent the staged delivery.

  • Align the technology and business functions under a cohesive governance model to deliver each stage of the strategy & Operating Model

  • Ensure that the key functions and stakeholders are engaged and represented in the workstream structures, and that user needs, and requirements are adequately represented within the workstream across front, middle and back office functions. 

  • Plan and lead operational readiness activities are planned, resourced, and monitored including Organisation design, job descriptions, role profiles; processes and procedures aligned to the Target Operating Model, Training.

  • Work closely with Technical, product and oversight governance functions to align outcomes, plans and designs to enterprise and programme targets

About you 

  • Detailed understanding of Investment management lifecycle across front, middle and to back office

  • Strong experience on portfolio management and Model Based investing and how these are evolving across the sector

  • Muti Asset Portfolio Engineering / Quantitative Experience will be added benefit

  • Background in Investment management technology product development of all key asset classes 

  • Able to understand performance and risk attribution of model-based investing

  • Experience working on in-house/vendor product that supports model-based investing

  • Ability to explain complex technical and functional requirement concisely 

  • Successfully operated as a hands-on business analyst in a lead role

  • Requirements analysis using structured techniques (Use Cases, Design Thinking etc.)

  • Strong logical and physical data analysis skills

  • End to end development using formal methodologies, agile or iterative techniques (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, XP)

  • Strong stakeholder management skills and experience presenting recommendations 

  • Experience of delivering change using an offshore model
