Your role:

Our rapidly growing Technology Risk and Management Oversight (TRMO) function is a centralized global team supporting the Head of Technology in delivering business value from Technology and Digital (T&D) in a consistent and transparent way. With a wide scope covering: Strategy, Operating Model, Oversight, KPIs & Analytics, Technology Risk & Resilience, Financial Management, Technology Regulatory Oversight, Project Portfolio Management (PPM), Learning & Development, Communications and delivery of cross-departmental Change Initiatives.

  • Leading the design, development and maintenance of operating models that align to our TRMO vision and strategic change objectives, including the development of an updated target operating model (TOM) that enables and facilitates a single view of change (SVOC) across the wider business. 

  • Working closely with change teams across the organisation to build out, communicate and embed the Change Management Framework

  • Providing business architecture guidance to the TRMO team, to ensure alignment of changes to the strategic roadmap, resolution of design issues and advice on synergies between projects

  • Providing thought leadership across the TRMO disciplines, with a particular focus on change governance and PPM, to design people, process and technology solutions

  • Leading the build and utilisation of the process and data architecture across TRMO to improve consistency and efficiency, aligning with Fidelity’s organisation wide data and process architecture standards

  • Working with colleagues and third parties to explore and develop innovative new approaches and solutions

  • Collaborating and influencing teams across Fidelity from Delivery and Change to Finance, Risk and Compliance


Key Skills

  • Have a strong understanding of change governance, reporting and change management frameworks, including experience of products and cross-functional teams

  • Have an excellent understanding of PPM and TBM (Technology Business Management) solutions, ideally Clarity and Apptio

  • Have led the design, development and implementation of target operating models across global teams

  • Are able to undertake process and data analysis and develop aligned people, process and technology solutions

  • Are able to present problems for discussion clearly and articulately, balancing the views of key stakeholders with best practice, enabling appropriate and timely decision making

  • Have served as a change leader, engaging and influencing across the organisation on change programs to ensure alignment with target operating models.

  • Know how to navigate a global organisation, bring together stakeholders, negotiate differences and draw effective conclusions

  • Express complex proposals / issues in simple terms that senior stakeholders can engage with
