Senior Project Manager
ROLE: Senior Project Manager
Contract length: 12 months
Location: Remote (With requirement to visit office in London/Surrey up to 4 times per month)

Your role
Fidelity are currently recruiting a Senior Project Manager to join their Investment Services and Solutions (ISS) team on a 12 month temp contract. You will be responsible for the successful implementation of large initiatives within the overall ISS Change portfolio. The ISS Change portfolio covers a diverse range of change initiatives primarily supporting the middle and back office operations areas. Some of the key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Project manage major initiatives or workstreams of large programmes within the ISS Change Operations portfolio
- Adhere to FIL’s change and risk standards to ensure compliant project execution and outcome
- Work effectively and collaboratively with project sponsors, delivery teams and other stakeholders to ensure the effective implementation of change
- Build relationships within ISS Operations, Investment Management, Technology, Compliance, Product and other delivery partners, both internal and external to the organisation, as required
- Manage virtual project teams across multiple locations and time zones as required
- Proactively identify and manage risks; provide advice, guidance and insight on resolving issues; escalate as appropriate
- Create and provide regular reporting on progress against plans to management, project sponsors and steering committees
- Support (or on occasion lead) detailed analysis of business requirements or challenges.
Your skills
- Significant Programme / Project management experience within an asset management organisation, with a broad understanding of the Funds industry
- Strong communication skills; provides excellent project reporting and presentations to senior stakeholders where required
- Ability to use interpersonal skills to motivate or to manage conflicts
- Can facilitate good governance and decision-making through steering committees or other appropriate channels
- Organised; maintains clear project artefacts including plan and RAID log.
- Ability to work under pressure or to tight deadlines
- Desirable: Ability to act in a hybrid Project Manager / Business Analysis role
- Desirable: Experience in managing change initiatives within Transfer Agency or Fund Accounting
- Desirable: Experience in transitions and data migrations from one operating model / system to another
- Desirable: Experience in Client Money / CASS requirements
